Healthy posture allows the muscles to work much more efficiently, which in turns allows the body to use less energy and therefore helps to prevent muscle fatigue, muscle strain, muscle pain, and joint pain.
Good posture means that the body is aligned so that there is the least amount of strain placed on muscles and bones. It is not only for appearance but also for feeling and functioning.
